She/Her
I became a therapist to help people who look like me, who come from where I come from. Growing up, therapy wasn’t something we talked about; many of us were told “don’t share your business” or “don’t talk to them white folks.” I know the stigma that can exist in our communities, and I also know we all deserve healing and growth. I like to call myself The Neighborhood Therapist: I believe that my role is to create safe, real, and relatable spaces where therapy feels accessible - where you don’t have to feel bad about where you come from, and you can begin to break cycles and embrace your full self.
I work with families, teens (13+) and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My specialties include co-parenting, communication skills, couples work (including infidelity, conflict, and divorce), generational and race-based trauma, LGBTQ+ identity and transitioning, non-traditional relationships, and recovery after addiction. I also integrate trauma-focused care, CBT, mindfulness, and shadow work with spiritual and ancestral healing practices, including astrology, when desired by clients.
My approach is collaborative and empowering. I believe the most transformative moments in therapy happen when clients say, “I never thought about it like that.” Together, we’ll work to shift perspectives, heal deeply, and support whole-life growth. Therapy is for all of us; no matter where you come from, you deserve the opportunity to feel safe, seen, and unapologetically yourself.
